offerings. Customers can purchase on-site maintenance
on a four-hour response or eight-hour/next business day
(standard) contract, a delayed response time contract
or a Time & Materials basis.

hours within 100 miles of a Lowry service center)
Contract Inclusions
The following services are covered by a Lowry On-Site Maintenance Agreement:
- Remedial Maintenance, including parts and labor
- Preventive Maintenance
- Mandatory Firmware Revisions
- Mandatory Engineering Change Orders
- Bar Code Verification Testing
Time & Materials (T&M)
This is maintenance provided outside of normal contract
coverage, services not included in a maintenance
contract, services provided to non-contract
customers, or services provided on an "as needed"
basis billed at an hourly rate.
General Contract and Warranty Information
Printheads Printheads are covered by maintenance
agreements when all supplies (labels, ribbons, etc.)
are purchased from Lowry, and the unit is covered by
maintenance agreement (new installations only). To
qualify an existing installation, the unit may
require a Pre-Contract Inspection, including
replacement of existing printheads at the users'
expense. Verification of Lowry supplies will be based
on purchase history and visible inspection of the
unit. Improper ribbon width also voids the printhead
warranty. NOTE: Customer must provide ribbon
and label samples when making unit available for
maintenance.

Service Coverage Area
Lowry provides on-site maintenance agreements on units
located within 100 miles of locations listed in U.S.
Service locations. Units outside the 100 mile radius
are subject to a maintenance surcharge.
