SSL Mobile VPN (AirBEAM Safe) provides secure and seamless access to the enterprise network via WLAN or WWAN. It can be deployed on a wide range of Motorola's wireless devices -from the latest versions of Windows Mobile to legacy DOS devices. This mobile VPN enables mobile users to move throughout their workday, using different connections without losing coverage or repeating the log-on process.

Based on standard security protocols The Wireless Transport Layer Security (WTLS) protocol provides trusted security with support for client and server certificates to deliver end-to-end security. End-to-End Security for all data in motion Provides secure remote access from all Motorola wireless devices to the enterprise network with mutual authentication and 256 bit AES encryption. Network Agnostic Seamless security for any type of wired or wireless network including LAN, WLAN, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA, GSM, WiMAX, etc. Application transparent Secures all applications and is seamless to the user. Broad platform support Secures Motorola's wireless devices, including legacy DOS devices. Advanced data compression Provides up to 60% data compression, which lowers cost and improves user experience for wireless WAN applications. Session resume and transaction recovery Supports session resume that automatically restores the network connection if the communication link is interrupted or if the client has been in sleep mode with no need to log in again. The VPN client not only recovers the network connection, it also picks up any interrupted file transfers when the device regains coverage. Mutual Authentication and strong encryption Supports the standard protocols 3DES and 256 bit AES for encryption, and Windows or Novell username/password authentication; Kerberos or Radius; X.509 or WTLS certificates; RSA SecurID. Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Maximum interoperability for client devices.
