Base Security
Does your government organization have a difficult time securing your military bases? With the variety of guidelines surrounding who is authoritied to enter which faculties on base, automated security systems have been grueling to implement on Military Bases.
With Lowry’s Base Security System, that problem is non-existent! Lowry’s Base Security System (BSS) is an electronic entry-control system that provides automated authentication and verification of both personnel and Vehicles entering installations through all access control points (ACPs). The BSS System is composed of a computer, communications systems and software. The software includes a database containing barred and suspended personnel. Upon entry the personnel and registered Vehicles are looked up in the barred and suspended database. If the person or Vehicle has not been previously barred or suspended, they will be allowed entry to the base. If, however, they are listed, they will be denied entry. The criteria for denial of entry also includes whether the person is allowed on the base within a given day/time and at a given Force Protection Condition (FPCON) threat level. The personnel details are captured by the system at the time of registration.
